Regular Receiver

This receiver mold is used with body aids and listening devices.

Shell

The shell earmold is the most frequently used style for all hearing losses.

3/4 Shell Earmold

This type of earmold is selected when the helix area is sensitive and ease of insertion due to the tightness of the helix area is a concern. Available in all materials.

1/2 Shell Earmold

This type of earmold is selected when more retention area is needed than when selecting a canal or 1/3 shell and removal of the earmold from the ear is a concern. Available in all materials.

1/3 Shell Earmold

This type of earmold is selected when more retention area is needed than when selecting a canal style earmold. Available in all materials.

canal earmold

Canal

With the helix and concha area removed, this mold eliminates all pressure points and provides maximum concealment.

Skeleton

This mold is cosmetically designed with the concha area removed but all retention and seal areas intact.

3/4 Skeleton Earmold

This type of earmold is similar to the skeleton design but is selected for ease of insertion and the helix area is sensitive due to the tightness of the helix area

Semi-Skeleton

This mold is much like the skeleton design, with a portion of the concha rim removed. This style is recommended when the shape of the pinna makes insertion and removal difficult.

Non-Occluding, High Frequency Elegance

This earmold is much like the skeleton except that the canal is reduced so that it is not occluded. These molds are recommended for high frequency loss as they will help eliminate the frequencies below 1000 Hz. Note: canal length changes the frequency response.

Canal with Lock

This mold is much like the canal mold but includes a small portion of the concha rim for greater retention. Recommended for any hearing loss from mild to severe.

Hollowed Canal

Designed much like the canal mold, this custom mold is recommended when a TMJ problem exists.
